Foundation, powder, blush tips...?

Hey everyone. My name's Jessica and my usual makeup routine includes purple eyeshadow, eyeliner (on top lid) and mascara. I'm a Latina with fair skin and dark hair. I need advice on how to use foundation, blush and maybe bronzers. Most foundations make me look too white/un-natural but I really want that flawless face look. Also, my cheeks are already naturally rosey...would it be a bad idea to use blush? what colors/brands would you suggest for me and how would I go about applying? Is there anything else I'm missing?Foundation, powder, blush tips...?
What you'll need to create a flawless face is:

liquid foundation that matches your skin tone

daily moisturizer

bronzer/brush with a brush

mix half of your daily moisturizer with half of your foundation.

Dab the foundation on in areas that look uneven on your face. blend it in with a makeup sponge or your finger.

While it is drying, (your face might feel sticky from the moisturizer) put on your purple eyeliner, eye shadow and mascara.

When finished doing that grab your blush or bronzer and sweep the brush from the apples of your cheeks (the bone in your cheek) all the way to your hair line. Then sweep it down your nose.

Good Brands

Liquid foundation: LOREAL true match super blendable makeup

daily moisturizer: Biore shine control

Blush/bronzer: Any colour from ALMAY that you like :)

This makes my face look very flawless and soft.Foundation, powder, blush tips...?
I am black with fair skin and have the same problem with foundation. I'm using Prescriptives and have no problem with any of their products because they have a good color printing system. Just ask at one of their counters.
For blush, just dont go too dark-how about a soft rose-just a little.

And for bronzer-the same, not too much cause you have fair skin. You''l need a light bronzer-nothing too dark cause it might look really artificial and orange on your skin.

If all you wear is purple eye shadow-try some new colors like light brown.
as far as foundation, the best thing to do is have a professional help you find your best shade. remember too that you have to apply it in natural light in order for it to show up correctly. try sephora or mac. they both have great makeup artists and sephora has foundations that i really love
MAC MAC MAC and MAC

I am quite fair myself, so I was looking for a long time for a good foundation.

I would recommend liquid foundations. MAC offers the best spf one!

They offer one that gives a satin/shine finish, and one that gives a dewy finish, but both give an amazing glow!

Ask one of the employees to match a shade to your skintone.

So you say you already have rosey cheeks? If so, I wouldn't creme blushes, this will just increase the colour too much.

I would recommend powder blushes, try one that is a lighter shade than you already have. Maybe a coral, or pink.
i wouldnt use blush
umm well if you're cheeks are naturally rosy their's no need to apply blush. i usually don't use foundation, i just use powder %26amp; concealer on zits if a have one. but if you prefer foundation , you said they make you look to white, try finding one that maches your skintone a little better, try to make it match your neck. i suggest almay or even better nuetrogena, they won't cllog your pores.

hope i helped, Judy
Go to a make up counter and ask them to match you to a foundation, you will only have to do it once and it will save you from the hassle of finding one youself.
ok first of all, no matter how much foundation you slather on your face, it will still be ';flawed';. if you are fair skinned, i dont suggest using foundation. if your cheeks are naturally rosy, dont use blush. you will look like you have a sunburn if you do.
thats what i wear except for the eye shadow. Try to switch it up sometimes.. the mascara that i use is maybelline and i love it. its black and its waterproof! As for foundation i dont use it cuz it clogs a lot of ur pores and its not good for u. Maybe u should go for powder.. and blush just add a lil more color to ur cheecks.. dont use bronzer..

Is eyeliner.mascara, foundation,a little blush too much for school?

im in my final year of school.and i also do that foundation on lip thing...i know it looks good on me but im wondring if its still too much for school. Is eyeliner.mascara, foundation,a little blush too much for school?
I think it depends how it looks on you. If it looks natural on then it's probably fine.. if it looks like alot then no. I'm imagining how that would look on me and it seems fine, as long as you don't layer on the foundation and use loads of layers of mascara and a very dark line on your eyes. It also depends on your features. For example indian, africa, arabic, spanish/latin american people often look really good with a lot of eye liner. Where as a caucasian person might look overdone. Is eyeliner.mascara, foundation,a little blush too much for school?
im in Year 10 and i do that everyday..... and it doesnt look overdone on me... as long as its applied lightly and not overly heavily and caked

on you can wear whatever u like as long as its put on correct i wear a light purple eyeshadow to school and it looks great!
Nope its not to much.. If you like wearing it...then go for it... Just remember to try to keep it somewhat natural... It always looks bad when you have to much and too thick.
i think eye liner and mascara is too much so just wear foundation and concelar as a base for your make up and wear loose powder and blusher

this will look natural
haha no not at all, im only in 10th and i wear mascara eyeliner foundation and bronzer.
It depends how much you put on i suppose but if you make it look natural then i would say no its fine to wear it.

good luck!
Go AuNatural

Then you will be seen and judged for you, not a beauty queen that fades.
It depends on how you apply it.
yes it is tone it down at school your not going there to model jeesh its just school
I would say that's too much. Flaunt your natural beauty.
i dont think so i wear that everyday to school i wouldn't say so
i don't think it would be too much.

Foundation or blush?

I don't like wearing make-up, but when my newborn has kept me up all night i'll accept eye liner and mascara with open arms lol.

Thing is though, my face looks like a sesame bun, i have so many freckles and it's more noticable now that the heat has soared!

I hate it, and have tried two cream foundations to conceal my freckled skin but it looks stupid. I tried a bronzing powder but i have fair skin so it too looked stupid.

What blush would you reccommend to gently conceal freckles and blemishes but doesn't look like i'm two toned or over doing it.

I prefer natural colors, no reds or pinks or anything like that, just natural shades. And with pale skin and green eyes, what color eyeliner would you reccommend?

I gave up using make-up because i was pregnant for 4 years straight but i'm trying to regain that femininity i once had and look more like the young mother i am rather than someone who just let themself go (face wise)

Thank youFoundation or blush?
Yes i can understand what post pregnancy cost to our skin but As a good suggestion i will tell u remedy for freckles tried and tested Buttermilk applied daily helps lighten freckles keep it on face for 15-20 mints and wash of When going out apply foundation as this is best to hide spots For blush on go for deeper ink and bronze mix for eye liner go for brown as it wont give a loud look and as well define ur eye line

Oh and plz dont get too focused on pregnancy and kid and mother this is all colourful stages of life enjoy it grace it ur happiness will make u look glowing even if u r tried i too have two kids i understand the changes occur but they r not for ever u can look much greater even before just be positive and give time for urself tooFoundation or blush?
www.perfectearthminerals.com is my personal website. This is my line of cosmetics. Mineral makeup is definately the way to go. It looks so natural. Do some research if you like. Good luck!
Try bare minerals or like drugstore brand they are very easy to apply(%26amp; fast), won't smudge or smear, I reccommend a light peachy blush, my niece has the same skin %26amp; freckles %26amp; she hates them and tries to cover them but they really are very pretty %26amp; def in style right now! I reccommend a plum or grey/silver eyeliner. :)
Firstly i would apply a concelar, then i would apply foundation i use 'dream mat mouse' i love it, it blends really well into the skin and covers most things up like freckles as i have lots of them as well :P Then afterwards i apply a powder. After all that all of my freckles are gone and i have a face that looks like it has no spots!

good luck !!

xx
almay smart shade makeup, it matches your skin tone perfectly, i have heard its really good i have the blush and it looks great, i wud try the blush in berry first, and if u like it get the foundation, its a little expensive but well worth it, the blush is 8 99 and the foundation is 13 99. if u wanna check out the products here u go, blush http://almay.com/Pg/Main/CatProdDet.aspx鈥?/a> foundation http://almay.com/Pg/Main/CatProdDet.aspx鈥?/a> and if yr interested the bronzerhttp://almay.com/Pg/Main/CatProdDet.aspx鈥?/a> i love almay it is hypoallergenic and they dont test on animals which is important to me, i hope u like my sugestions
First off, blush isn't intended to conceal anything. It can be used to contour or make you appear healthy. Foundation is used for that, and concealer is more for acne or under your eyes etc.... Find a good foundation wither it be mineral powder, or a tinted moisturizer with powder on top, or a nice light weight foundation that blends well. You have to put effort into looking nice but it really isn't that hard. Bronzer is a good choice and maybe some peach, or terracotta color for a nice flush. Almost makeup by Clinique is a no brainer for foundation. Also Bare Minerals powders are popular. Nars Orgasm blush looks good on most. Paula Dorf's Candy Apple blush looks healthy and good on everyone. Good Luck.
I would reccommend Estee Lauder Blushing Natural Cheek Color.
If you want light coverage that looks natural, try a tinted moisturizer. Basically a tinted moisturizer is like a foundation and moisturizer blended together so it doesn't go on too heavy at all. It sounds like you would need a fairlly light tinted moisturizer in an ivory but if you go to a makup counter, someone will be able to help you select the right colour. I prefer neutral eyelines such as brown or grey because it looks more natural.
freckles shouldnt be completely covered up, that would take a massive amount of makeup, and maintainance throughout the day, sheer makeup, like MAC sheer pressed powder, and their concealer stick, would be perfect for you, go to a MAC counter, and have them experiment different looks on you, good luck!

Blush is one of the last things you put on.

After, your blush will last longer.

So Makeup Aditcts: I just Finished my First Blush and Foundation...?

%26amp; I think I want to keep the Packaging, I think when Im older It's going to be really Special to me... Is the Weird?

First Foundation CoverGirl Clean Makeup (I love 4 other foundations now)

and CoverGirl Cheekers Blush In ROCK N ROSE It;s soooo pretty and All I have left is Like Crumps lolSo Makeup Aditcts: I just Finished my First Blush and Foundation...?
Nothing wrong with that at all.So Makeup Aditcts: I just Finished my First Blush and Foundation...?
no, actually, in ten years, if you are still a makeup junkie you'll all be like

'man, i can't believe i used that crappy stuff'

cover girl isn't anything special. i do have many special memories getting into my mom's avon- but since makeup goes bad, you don't want to keep something like that
You sound like you might be a pack rat. What are you going to do with the packaging? Just throw it away. You will empty plenty of makeup palettes and tubes in your life, you don't need to save them. Seriously, don't save things you don't need, it only creates useless clutter.
    Thats weird
